A Little About Me

I am a Northwoods native. I started fishing as a young child and have continued my entire life.  I've been married for 14 years (and counting) and have three great kids. 
My specialty is walleye fishing.  I have studied walleye and have good instincts and knowledge of the local lakes. I fish year round, although my season of choice is winter.  Ice fishing in the Northwoods is an incredible opportunity and experience.  My wife teases me that my ice shack is my home away from home.  My ice shack is fully equipped and I have plenty of ice fishing gear if you do not have access to your own.  My years of experience, skills, and knowledge of the Northwoods will give you an opportunity to experience fishing “my style”. 
Children are welcome! I have fished with my children since they were very young.

There are plenty of accommodations and lodging in the Northwoods.  I recommend Pitliks Sand Beach Resort, located on the Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes, which is the chain I prefer to fish on.  They have 12 beautiful cabins with a bar/restaurant on Sand Lake.  If you are interested please check out their website, the link is on my Area Info page.
